Post by: 77ncaachamps on January 31, 2009, 11:33:04 AM
ND up by a couple.

Looks like Pitt's settling on the three. Sounds familiar...

Pitt settling on threes?  ND has taken 23 three attempts in first half..

BTW, Dujuan Blair is just a beast.

Kyle Macalarney needs to lay off the pot, once again it looks like he isn't as much as a factor as he was earlier in the year.

ND hits 11 3's in the 1st half.  ND by 6 at halftime despite Shrek shooting 3-11 from the field.

Pitt scores 6 in the first minute of the second half, tie game.  I think this is where Gregg Easterbrook writes "game over" in his notebook.

Blair is eating Gody for lunch.  15 points, 16 rebounds with 15 minutes to go.

The more I see Notre Dame, I think "NIT." Goat Boy is great but Doobie Boy is very easily stopped. The more I see Pitt, I think "Final Four." Blair is unbelievably strong and when that team hits threes they are very tough.

Gody is an outstanding player. He is getting his points today. What has become apparent is ND is a very limited team. They are looking more like an NIT team.
