Anyone know what got Buzz t'ed up?
I imagine he will be taking out a full page ad in the paper tomorrow to apologize.
I think he was out of the coaches box. I saw an assistant pull him back about a minute after the T
I don't think it was on Buzz. It may have been because the team was standing up after Dom's big play.
I've seen Higgins give warnings about standing up but never a T so maybe they were given a warning ahead of time.
I think it was on Buzz. Buzz was on the refs quite a bit. It started with a charge/block call and Buzz slammed the scorer's table a few times and got stared at by the ref. He kind of stayed on them for awhile. And on that play when James got the steal he was knocked over either by the screener or ball handler before he made the steal, so I think that is why he was upset. This game was as animated as I've ever seen Buzz on the sidelines in anger.
It was on Buzz. In his postgame he said it was because he said "foul".

Hater?
No, no. Just recognizing Buzz's earlier moments where he felt regretted something, like what he said to the refs during the Xavier dance party at PC.

Your response speaks volumes about the current makeup of MU fandom. :D
I have seen Buzz out of the coach's box often, and immediately after the T was called he was again. and I was commenting to the folks next to me that he better get back or he''ll get another T, and that's when one of the assistants went to him and told him to get back. But he has done that often, in many games.
I still don;t know what the T was for tho. Saying "foul"? Wow - that is touchy on the ref's part. But all's well that ends well. Glad we won.

+1 Buzz wanders often. Being a new coach, I think the refs have given him some leaway. Today, the ref was clearly pointing to the box when he whistled him--and combined with a complaint about a "foul" at the same time will get you a T to teach you a lesson.
According to the announcers, it was about a lack of a foul call. DJ had the break away, and the announcers said that Buzz was upset because DJ got hit in the head and no foul was called.
My experience with getting T's and quite frankly I rarely get them, but that often times what actually gets the technical may not be all that major...typically an exchange has developed over a number of things and often the straw that breaks the camels back in of itself may not be that big but the ref may have decided enough was enough. Being out of the box and sarcastically saying foul usually would never warrant a foul but depending on what led up to it may have been the last straw would be my guess.
The ref that issued it has had a history of issuing weak technicals. He did the same in an earlier BE matchup. The game escapes me at the moment
