~~~James makes a FT during the rest of the season?
~~~McNeal passes the ball on a breakaway the rest of the season?
James' FT shooting is one of the most pathetic I have seen for a PG. Can anybody think of one worse PG in free throw shooting in the past 10 years in college BB?
McNeal will even try to force it when 3 guys go to him on the break.

You must not have seen a Clemson game last year. Their starting PG Cliff Hammonds was a 45% free throw shooter.
No I missed that. OK, second most pathetic.
Thanks for that negative angle on DJ's game. How about some of those passes DJ had in the first half? Always good when your point guard gets 9 assists and only 2 turnovers.
MU won. Quit bitching.
Brandin Knight of Pitt was pretty bad.

McNeal running the break drives me absolutley nuts. Actually Wes running the break drives me nuts too. The only one willing to pass the ball on the break is James.

+1 He sucks at free thows, but makes up for it greatly with his assist/turnover ratio and his overall leadership. Every player has flaws. Deal with it.
Wow...thanks for the post Debbie Downer. The guy has won at least 2 games I can remember at the buzzer, and he has a RETARDED assist to turnover ratio. Yes, he's not exactly Steve Kerr from 3land, but he's a terrific player, he's efficient on offense, an absolute TERROR on defense, and he's a great leader. I look forward to more smart-ass, negative posts after wins, keep them coming.

+1
DJ sank two in a row late in the game, and this, to me, was the finest passing clinic I have seen from him. His passes were gorgeous; a thing of beauty; poetry. He was a stunning assist man today.
But he should practice some free throws - we're going to need every point we can get from this point forward.
GO MARQUETTE!
If he shoots 50% from the line, doesn't that work out to 50% from the field? Who wouldn't take a PG shooting 50% and a 4 or 5 to one assist to turnover ratio?
DJ is a gamesaver: remember Valpo?! Louisville 4 years ago, when he gave us the chance of winning in OT?
REL is a gamesaver: remember @ USF 3 years ago? Rel ran the court with the ball for a layup, now aren't you glad he did that? By the way, they even showed it at Depaul's game Saturday during the West Bend Silver Lining spot on the jumbotron.
Yeah no one likes missed FTs, but life goes on, and we can't change that. I hate all the missed putbacks, but what can you do? I think you should be angrier at players that miss 2 foot lay-ins than FTs ± pressure.
Rel, Wes, and DJ rock, and i wish they had 4 more years with us.

How would that work out?
Say he attempts 12 free throws and shoots 50%. That's 6 Pts. Now say he attempts 12 2 point field goals and shoots 50%. That's 12 Pts.
Unless I'm completely missing something, shooting 50% from the line is like shooting 25% from the field.
When we lose a game because of his ft shooting then I will be upset. But we won by 9, so for this week I will worry about other things.
