Title: Big East deeper than Big Ten
Post by: GregShimonFor2 on January 22, 2009, 10:46:22 AM
Much has been discussed on this board about the Big East vs. the ACC. No question both are the top leagues in America.

There has been some smoke from Big Ten apologists this year claiming their league is the deepest in the nation. Hogwash.

Line up the top 11 teams from the Big East against the 11 teams from the Big Ten and the Big East wins 7 or 8 if not more. The quality of teams at the top of the Big East is much more impressive than the quality of teams at the top of the Big Ten.

The Big East is deeper than the Big Ten.

In other basketball news:

Michael Jordan was a good basketball player.

Yao Ming is taller than Earl Boykins.

The University of Alaska has a hard time recruiting kids from warm weather states.

Dick Vitale talks loud during telecasts.

Anything else????????????????????????????????????????????

I believe you could safely claim the MEAC is deeper than the Big 10.

What happens with the prediction numbers if you match up the BOTTOM 11 teams with the Big10?
