Title: Finally beat Providence
Post by: 32NCAAs on January 17, 2009, 11:45:02 PM
Can't speak for everyone here but that God Shamgod/Austin Croshere loss several years back really crushed me.  That half court shot at the end of the first half by Croshere will forever live in the back of my head.  Redemption baby.  I feel so good leaving PC with a win today.  This will be a special year!

Austin "Ridiculous Threes" Croshere did crush me. High hopes for that team too.

The bastard just shot unconsciously...though our D wasn't particularly good that game either.

At least, we were beat by a future NBA veteran (who'da thunk?).

I had such a bad feeling about the game last night before it started especially reading articles on ESPN.com about how it was likely we'd start 6-0 in the conference.  It feels good to get this W, being 0-4 at Providence previously.

I hear ya.  That was a very painful game.  I still vividly remember watching that game from the Anex, sitting next to Freeway.  At least he was entertaining, unlike the game.

That one and the Louisville game that ended our long home winning streak (Reece Gaines insane 3) were two of the most painful games for me.  What's with the stars of both of those games going on to be crappy bench players for the Bucks?
