of course the east coast media wont call it the best conference ever if MU wins it...but its nice for the time being.
We have yet to play the cream of the division We need to win some in the brutal second half to get a great seed. This being said; we have done all we have had to so far and deserve respect nationally
Yup. Enjoy it while these kids are here...
But comments from our opponents (like below) really make my day:
"I've never been part of such a cock tease in my life. Just when you think they might actually pull one out, they find a way to blow it. McD is the least clutch player in the history of college basketball. Pc loves to blow the espn games. I would love to know what our record is when we are nationally telivised."

I remember having the same insight that we sucked on ESPN for a 2 year stretch after the Final Four.

+1
While we are at 5-0 right now and looking at a very possible 6-0 start in the conference, let's not get too excited just yet. After DePaul we'll have ND on the road and then Georgetown at home. This stretch should really show us how we stand against the elite teams in the conference. While we have played some good teams in conference play, we have had them at home (West Virginia and Villanova) and it's no secret how good our home court advantage is. I just don't want to get too high until we go against a few of the elite teams in this conference....
One game at a time. I love Buzz's approach, and that's how I look at it. It we are executing well, getting better, etc. then we are better prepared for the rest of the season. If we can get Otule and Fulce int he mix, then we have more options too. So I am feeling very good about where we are. This is a terrific start to the year, and conference. Now let's get # 6 on Saturday and beat DePaul! No let up, no let down, do prisoners. Let's stay focused!
GO MARQUETTE!!
