AGREED, BEast leading MU looks/feels link it should.. awesome!
Let's make sure we don't overlook DePaul (that would be embarrassing) so we can make it 6-0!
5-0 is very sweet! I hope the team continues to get better and better as we move forward. This is fun! 8-)
Lets Go Warriors!!
I love this team!
"Yeah but we haven't beat any BE team with a winning record."
Process or not you gotta love the way Buzz has this team playing.
Will we go undefeated? No but I don't think there were too many who thought Buzz would have this team at 5-0 after 5 games into the BEast schedule.
Go MU

I was "alright" with the Buzz hire, and I never expected a start like this. I didn't think Mathews or James was capable of playing the kind of basketball they are. If we play the bottom 5 of the BEAST and win all five I'm thrilled. Surely the toughest is yet to come, and the teams we beat (or lost to) are not stellar, but there's no need to knock a 5-0 start. Cautiously optimistic here...
Providence had a winning record.
I think anyone would have booked a 16 - 2 start before the season started. This has been a very solid run, but a lot of work is ahead for this team. Kudos to teh team and to Buzz and staff. But what is immediately ahead, is DePaul. We must beat DePaul. That's the only game that matters.
GO MARQUETTE!!
HELL YEAH!!! FIRE UP WARRIORS!!! 5-0!!! WOOOOOO HOOOOOO!!!
I don't care who we have played in conference so far this year or that we are a little less than a third of the way through the season. Its awesome that we sit on top of the leaderboard in the toughest conference.
After last night, this team gives me hope that we have a realistic chance of competing for one of the top 4 spots in this conference and a 2 game bye in the conference tourny.

Correct.
Teal colored font = sarcasm.
Welcome to the board man,
Go MU
MU has done exactly what excellent teams do....beat teams they are supposed to beat. Providence will beat a top BE team at home.....it just won't be MU.
WVU will beat a top BE team....it just won't be MU
Villanova will beat a top BE team....might still be MU
MU now just needs to keep DePaul from being the one cellar dweller that reaches up bites a top team in the butt.....ala 0-15 South Florida against G-Town in MU's first BE season, which gave MU 4th place.
Hey Erin Andrews Thong. Many men would like to get next to you!
In the 1992-93 season we were 17-2 after winning at DePaul. If we beat DePaul Saturday and we are 17-2 again. However, we finished 20-8 that year. This is a great start, but we have many tough games ahead of us. We will probalby be ranked 10th or 11th this week, but my guess is we will finish the season ranked around 20th.
We need to stay focused on one game at a time. DePaul is up. That's it. We are happy to be 5 - 0. Whatever the schedule, it it better to be 5 - 0 than not! If we are ranked 10th, I think that's high. We should not be ranked in the Top Ten until we get some production from Otule and Fulce to the point where other teams have to be concerned about them, and we beat one of the top BEast teams. Then....rank us higher!
In the meantime, I am enjoying this season, one game at a time.
Daniel's right on. We have played 5 conference games and we have won them all. Better than 4-1 or 3-2. Can't win any more than you play. The schedule is out of our control, so just take them one at a time.
