Otule has shown he will be a difference maker down the stretch?

Really?

This article is long on repeating the same things we all know are good about the team and failing to point out any of MU's flaws.  Let's all remember that the combined conference record of our BE opponents is 2-11.

That being said, I still think we have a shot to be a very special team but I highly doubt we win the BE

The quote is:
QuoteBut the little Otule has played, he's demonstrated that he might be a difference maker down the stretch.

Big difference between will and might, big fella.

That said, I'm not quite as optimistic as the author of the article... but hey, only 14 more wins to go for an undefeated conference season.  Let's roll.

A little early to make the prediction that the Warriors will win the Big East. We need to see a couple more road games.

But Hey, somebody has to win. I think more importantly is to finish in the top 4 and then win a game or 2 in the BEast tourney.

Some 4 teams have to finish in the top 4, and 1 has to win the tourney. Why not us?

"With four seniors starting, Marquette has as much game experience as anyone in the Big East."

As much as?  Who is the number 2 team?  Are they even close?

I don't know if this guy actually thinks we will win.  He was given an assignment to write an article on why we will.  As were all of these guys:
A Panther's Take on Why Pittsburgh Will Win the Big East

A Cardinal's Take on Why Louisville Will Win the Big East

A Hoya's Take on Why Georgetown Will Win the Big East

An Orange's Take on Why Syracuse Will Win the Big East

Yeah that wasn't a very well written article.  Not a lot analysis.  It certainly didn't read like the work of a professional journalist or even a decent blogger.

ND starts 3 seniors and 2 juniors.

UCONN starts 2 seniors and 3 juniors and plays another senior over 20 minutes a game.

Pitt starts 3 seniors a Soph and a frosh.

Providence starts 4 seniors and a JR.

Those are years.  It says "game" experience, i'm doubting all of those players mentioned were starting as freshmen.

I think we need to give the author a break.  He's a HS kid.  Check out his bio.  For a HS kid, I think he was pretty decent.
