I would suggest updating your meta tags as well currently all you have is the title. Updating the description and keywords will help drive natural search activity, increasing your page views. That along with the content provided is sure to do wonders.

Since it is Flash, you'll definitely need those meta and description tags in the HTML...but...I'd kill the Flash. For the type of site you've got, its pretty needless. And, even though you can set up Flash to be indexed by Google and Yahoo, it'll never be as good as a simple text site enhanced by JavaScript.

That all said, and so I don't sound like a negative Nancy, I like the concept, and think the current implementation is pretty solid. As you look to grow (content, SEO, revenue) I think you'll Flash to be detrimental to the long term outlook.

Like the other guys, I'm happy to help. Good luck with the site!

nice - added a link in the resources menu for ya!  Feel free to advertise here all you like; try cross posting your gold mine newsletter with link backs to get some traffic.

Let us know if we can help you out in any way at all.  :)

i have a big crew going to the georgetown game and it would be cool to hand it out at the pregame bash.

if you guys could throw it up on the website the day before a game it would allow all fans a chance to check it out.

Agreed. Kill the flash and make html versions of the gold mine instead of having them as all pdfs. I also think it would be cool to do a mobile version of the site and the gold mine so people can easily bring up the site and copies of the gold mine at the game from their mobile device.

Cool, but I think you should remove the "Language reminder on the pages"  You are students, not someone else's parents.

Cool site so far. Spell check on the home page though...

We work very closely with Marquette Athletics and try to plan events to  increase awareness and attendance at athletic games.

can you put up bio's of each of the super fans so we can identify the coolest fans in the arena.  or maybe talk to the athletic office about getting your own trading cards made and hand them out before the game.  "i'll trade you one boxer boy, for your avery and kid with the afro."

is your proxy on???

I tend to agree... I have never been a fan of flash sites because I feel like they are designed for morons... or are usually to vague to be useful.

I would definitely bookmark a mobile version on my phone.

Will there be a gold mine for the PC game and, if so, when would it be available to download?

that guy is great... i love that it seems as if he is flaunting his man fur by wearing the jersey and nothing underneath.

you can have stats on the back of each card like how many games they have been too, how many boobs they have seen that weren't their sisters, how many classes they have skipped for games, etc.

Every Big East game will have one written for it and it should be available day of game and maybe earlier.  Ill post on here each time a new one goes up

bump  DePaul sheet is now up.  Sorry it took so long, hopefully we will have the georgetown one up before the game!  I would have had it up earlier but decided to go to ND today.  :)
