And the week isn't even over yet. We have a good shot of moving into the AP and up a few spots this week if we can win tomorrow. What amazes me is how many ranked teams lost at home this week to unranked teams too. And the upsets were pretty evenly spread throughout the entire poll. The rankings on Monday should be pretty interesting to say the least.
#2 UConn (lost to #8 Georgetown)
#4 Oklahoma (@ Arkansas)
#7 ND (@ St. Johns)
#9 Purdue (Illinois)
#11 Georgetown (#3 Pitt)
#14 Tennessee (@ Kansas)
#15 Villanova (@ Marquette)
#16 Gonzaga (@ Utah)
#18 Louisville (UNLV)
#19 Baylor (South Carolina)
#21 Minnesota (#10 Michigan State)
#23 Michigan (Wisconsin)
#24 Ohio State (@ #21 Minnesota)
Let's just not add ourselves to that list tomorrow. Go Marquette!
We're safe. I used the AP poll where we're not ranked. Didn't want to take any chances of getting added to it. ;D
NC State also giving Florida a good run too. 1 point lead for NC State with about 10 minutes left. Know Florida's not ranked, but that'd be a good one for us as well.
should be a nice boost in the rankings assuming a win tomorrow
NC State game would be a boost for RPI. Plus, Gus Johnson is going crazy.
Watching Harongody's b!tch-arse lose to St.John's was great. He's the whiniest deuschbag in the league. Whines after every f-ing call/non-call.
(although, if he were on my team, I'd love him...just like Ainge and Laimbeer back in the day)
So much for NC State. Bumbled their last possession.
