Someone needs to get Frozena a blog.  He has more than double the game action as this guy.  That has to count for something.

I have now read every post on that blog.... absolutely hilarious.

He is out-Simmonsing Simmons on a regular basis.

I wasn't able to visit any of the 4-5 sites I normally check out during lunch at work.  This was the first thread I clicked on and I spent the rest of my lunch (half) hour reading the Club Trillion blog.  I only got through Mid-November.  I was beginning to wonder if the guys near me were going to ask what the heck was so funny, because I was laughing out loud a few times.

That will be going in my Favorites.

It's too bad the kid can't cash in on the advertising opportunities.

The trampoline basketball accident is one of the funniest/saw it coming the whole time, you tube videos I have seen in awhile.

Sorry for necroing this thread... but this blog's author, Mark Titus, just put out an awesome video titled Mr. Rainmaker.  Definitely making some noise around the Intert00bs.

I saw this and also thought about resurrecting this thread.  I've been reading Club Trillion since the posts last year.

The thing that I thought was amazing about the video is just how damn good the walk-ons on high major D-I teams are.  I know this has been talked above before on here, but it really is funny.  Frozena supposedly is a "scrub" who only gets in at the end of games when we're killing the other team (the proverbial "human victory cigar"), but he's probably a better basketball player (by far) than the vast majority of the people posting on this board (maybe all of us).  Titus scored 1,000 + points in HS and was Second Team All-Indiana twice.

Just watching Frozen A from warm ups and garbage time, I'm guessing he'd be in the top 10 players in Men's Intermural A league...

Yup, most of these guys could play DII and start and many would get serviceable minutes at lower DI.  Some of us were given similar alternatives is other sports....play DIII  or try and walk on a DI (no, mine wasn't hoops.)   ;D

Titus was being recruited by alot of lower level D-1 schools.  He mentioned when he was on the BS Report with Simmons that Harvard was very interested, but some things got messed up and it never came to fruition.  He wanted to go to a bigger school, even if that means being a walk on and not a started.

Best line so far:

"Delaware State had no white guys on their team, but they decided to play at an incredibly slow pace which seems pretty counterintuitive to me."

I think it is in the blog about the Presbyterian game, but he was talking about how he usually avoids rebounds as they ruin his trillion, but one bounced perfectly toward him, and he had no choice but to grab it, but was able to do a loud ball smack as he gained control.  It was hilarious.  I also love his bragging about his "wet" jumper.

He's insanely intelligent and talented. The kid can probably do whatever he wants in life. He's talked about going to medical school.

His mom was a great player at Purdue, if I'm not mistaken.

He had an offer to play at Butler, but wanted more of a "big school" experience.

Not so much anymore.  Now his podcasts are filled with stories about walking his dog, taking care of his kid, and what prop bets / parlays he is going to make that weekend with Cousin Sal.

Simmons has really embraced his role as an influential media personality. He also does a lot of stuff about media, sports business, the internet, etc. His book was the No. 1 NYT Bestseller, which say what you want about him, is a major life accomplishment. He was one of the producers for the ESPN 360 shows. He says he wants to do more stuff like that. He also entertains leaving ESPN and having his own website/podcast. He's very, very close with Jimmy Kimmel, Adam Carolla and Joel McHale and they seem to work on projects together. He's now rich as shi'ite, and can probably do whatever he wants. He has a huge audience that will follow him anywhere.

I've been reading club tril for awhile the SNES and WWF references are great.
I though Mark the Shark tried to declare his eligibility for the NBA draft last year but the NBA told him no in hopes to preserve the integrity of the draft...

Found his declaration blog post http://clubtrillion.blogspot.com/2009/04/to-whom-it-may-com-stern.html

Not to hijack the thread but NBA and integrity in the same sentence would seem to be the definition of an oxymoron.

BS's book of basketball is awesome.  Really long, but it's easy to read a chapter or two and put it down for a week.
