We are under named and undersized.
Burke is a liability at both ends. On the hight pick, he is not even covered wich results in our guards being pushed futher out. On, D he is out of position which results in reaching and over the back calls.
DJ NO attempts from the line. No aggression and they have learned to defend him by letting him shot. His shot is worse this year, if that is possible. No form, no release point, no confidence.
The switch to a 1-3-1 put Tenn on thier heals but also tired us out. Often resulted in Aker on the base line and Tenn just shot over him.
On bench is just terrible. Acker is toooo small, Cubes is in the dog house and may never see the light of day, Buttle does not even look to shot and Hazel is well Hazel. For those watching on the tune, Cubes got in trouble for missing a basic grade school assignment w? Buzz espressing his displeasure.
Speaking of gade school , can some please tell our guys the importance of boxing out on foul attempts.
The refs where not the reason we lost, we were exposed as, non-shooters and at times not very smart w/ the ball.
The game against NCS is a must. We can afford 3 Loses going into conference.
cannot disagree with anything you say but will disgaree on the boxing out on the FT's. !st of all with the new way they line up for them it is harder to box out. it actually favors the longer more athletic player to beat you to the ball. Additioanlly, last night when the other team is longer and more athletic they are going to get some of those. Hayward is fighting like hell to keep a guy like chism off the boards but he is givng up 4-5 inches and 30 lbs, not to mention Chism is a better athlete.
You know i learned how to box out in 4th grade but could never keep those 7th graders from boarding over me. Sometimes the other guys is just bigger quicker and stronger, much of which was the case last night not only on Fts but everywhere. that is waht 3 staright wiffs of recruiting classes by our former coach gets for you
