In a 68-55 win over Verona.  Jeronne also collected 15 boards and 3 blocks.  Vander Blue chipped in with 19.

"We should be beating teams by 40 points, in my mind," Maymon said

I love this kid.

Some say he's going to be the best player to come out of Wisconsin in some time.

Thanks for the update.

Having never seen the kid play, one things I've never been certain of is at what position does he project in college. Is he going to be a big 3 or more of an undersized 4?

I hope they're right. That's quite a bold statement. We've had some great ones come out of this state.

With the strength he has, I think he could be either.  That said, he would be a beast for most 3's to guard.  The most striking parts of his game to me are his ability to clear space and his ability to finish.  It seems like if he gets the ball within 6-8 feet of the hoop it's going in somehow.  He reminds me of Alando Tucker in that regard, Maymon's ugly shots near the basket have a knack for going in just like Tucker's did.

Either.  What you are going to love about him, is how nasty he plays under the basket.  He isn't some soft, athletic type 3 that hangs out on the perimeter.  (Jamil Wilson)  He will go underneath and bang around with anyone.  He'd be getting big minutes if he were on the team right now IMO.

If he was on this team, we would be beating teams by 40.

He will probably put on even more muscle this year and his 1st at MU and be a good banger down low

Oh NO, note murph's numerous comments on how bulking up has impeded Burke development
