If this was posted already, I missed it.
Some really good stuff

The video starts in a few seconds. Enjoyed his enthusiasm and praise of players.
Nice subtle dig! ;)
Since I never attended a basketball practice it is hard for me to judge from that clip. But I do like his approach to the players. He communicates with them on their level but remains clearly in charge.
Dude. Don't you read your own blog?

i like that it seems that the kids respond well to him as a coach. however there are times before and after drills where he has a little joking around with a couple of them. people have questioned on if he is crossing the line of friends/coach, but i feel it's a clear line to this point in his tenure.
plus DJ's shot looks good in practice.

Too funny. I didn't get a chance to see the blog in a few days. Happened to be on the Gomarquette site to get a link to the MU shop and saw it.

Unless I see pictures of him on Facebook drinking with the undergrads at a house party, I would think he is on the correct side of the line. And I would think having a coach that can relate to his players on a "friend" level might be beneficial at times.

With a prayer being said before practice i doubt we'll be seeing any Bruce Pearl or Larry Eustachy type pictures of Buzz.
edit: Thanks B2002, You're correct...
Was it Larry Eustachy (sp) that was photographed at an on campus party at the opponents school?
Edit: Anytime.

It sounded like everyone wants Butler to contribute more. As he got an o-rebound everyone just started yelling for him to score. I think they know he can play, but he too tentative to be agressive on the offensive end right now.
Butler and Hazel need to step up NOW!

I think Larry Eustachy is the only guy on the planet that enjoys Natty Light more than me!! ;D

People question evolution as well. Any teacher or school administrator will tell you that research shows the student/teacher rapport is the single biggest large effect practice for increased student achievement. I didn't see anything that came close to resembling a lack of professionalism on Buzz's behalf. We're talking college kids here. Some of my favorite professors were the ones who would take their student's out for a beer or two after class. They were perfect examples of how you could go out, be responsible, have a decent conversation and call it a night.
