Title: Next test for Buzz
Post by: mviale on November 30, 2008, 02:46:46 PM
How will Buzz respond to this poor game?  Will he lose the players or unite them to win big in their next outing?  These are great losses to have early in the season.  Previous MU teams have recovered.

The next test will be against Wisconsin, cause the next game is Central Michigan.  Hopefully a coach doesn't "lose" his players six games into his tenure as a head coach.  Also hope the CM game is a blow-out, and the starters can sit.  MU's second team really needs the time on the court in a real game atmosphere.

dont depend on the second team, until we have this group together, we are too shorthanded right now to judge the bench.

There is no such thing as a great loss. A loss is a loss.

That said, the next game is a test. It will be the first time Buzz's team has come off a loss; the opponent is irrelevant. If they come out loose and focused, it will be a good sign. If they play tight and try to press things too much, it could be trouble down the road.

No, a november loss to Dayton could be a good experience for Buzz and team.  We can improve.  A bad loss is a loss to CMU or North Dakota State.
