Poll
Question:
Setting RPI aside, who will you cheer for tonight?
Option 1: Indiana
votes: 6
Option 2: Notre Dame
votes: 39
Yeah, yeah I know I'm like a bitter ex. But I can't wait for my enemy Mike Brey to destroy my new found enemy Tom Crean on national tv :)
Perhaps a better poll question would be will TC wear a bowling shirt again in Hawaii?
This poll is too hard to make a good choice in...
The obvious answer is Notre Dame for RPI reasons.
But if you set that aside, does your hate of Notre Dame outweigh your hate of Tom Crean?

No, it does not.

Yes, it does. But does my hate of Notre Dame outweigh my dislike of Crean combined with the RPI boost?
I still say yes. Go Hoosiers. Shut down Shrek.
The line on this is game is ND -15.
Me thinks Vegas is giving a little too much credit to IU, or maybe not enough to ND.
Notre Dame by 30+.
Indiana by 5+ on lame Hawaiian Shirts.
Please help me.
It is (almost) always acceptable in non-conference play to support our Big East foes. Though playing Indiana is a real detriment to the conference's RPI... so instead I suggest Indiana be dropped to DII. They will be replaced by Chaminade, who will probably beat them for 7th place anyways.
put all the money you got on Notre Dame -15 pts?
you should probably check other posts before posting a duplicate.

kidding...but it is eerily similar.
Regarding Indiana, overall their coach did a lot to boost MU's program during his tenure here. While I don't have and never had "jilted lover syndrome" about the tan one, I do think he has classless streak in him. However, the positives he brought to MU outweighed the negatives so I have no problem with Indiana. I wish him luck there.
ND on the other hand....let me just say, I have never liked the domers. They top my listed as the number one hated rival (more than UW).
For me, the choice was easy.

Yeah I thought I saw this topic somewhere else.
ND wins by 30. Believe it.
IU is that bad.
The RPI drives all of my rooting interests. I can root for the hated ND tonight because it will help MU for ND to win. Period. And, if that means I'm rooting against Indiana, then that just makes it a little easier for me.
Rooting against UW-Madison tonight becomes doubly strong tonight because MU's RPI is boosted probably slightly more by a UConn win.
I wouldn't waste the electricity to watch this game.

But I might cheer for the building to collapse. That way, everyone wins...
Too far?
My hate for $Crean$ far outweighs my hate for ND and even surpasses my hate for the Crying Illwhini. I'm hoping ND wins by 50
Who are you rooting for? They are playing right now in Maui. I know there is a great deal of anger with Tom Crean on this board but there is NO F***ING WAY I'll ever root for anything ND. Go Indiana!!!

ND up 21 at half (44-23). So far so good.
I'm no ND fan, but conference affiliation comes first in this one. Plus, for some reason I find it very difficult to root for IU these days. Can't quite put my finger on the reason though... :P
ESPN ripping on Crean's clothes & golf game.
CBS Sportslines game blog is sounding like a TC apologist :)

QuoteIndiana is facing a major talent gap which they have not been able to overcome. They are starting 4 freshman in a total rebuilding year under the new coach. Tom Pritchard looks like he belongs on the same court while most everyone else is a step slow or not used to the big lights they are under.
Crean looked a lot better in the blue bowling shirt. The crimson bowling shirt isn't his color.
Notre Dame by 38!
Notre Dame taking three's and dunking with the shot clock off while up by 30+. I love it!

Cheer, cheer for old Notre Dame :-)

So what's worse than a pity clap? A pity foul so ND can stop play to sub. How will TC handle being Mr. Irrelevant in a few months now once the press has moved on? IU is really bad. TC should get COY for winning his first two.

I can tell you for a fact that Crean has no golf game.

38
88-50, ND
That's almost as bad as the beat down Louisville gave us in Freedom Hall.
Didn't we not make a field goal in the first half? Man that was ugly.
That game was so bad we were pushing for Louisville to break triple digits at the end.

Rocky, you could probably stay within 38 against ND.
Indiana
is even worse than you.
