Most points ever by a MU team in the BC.

Too bad not a lot of people saw it.

Where was the crowd tonight???  I can't remember the last time the BC was so empty.  Did the MU women play at home tonight - is that why there was only half a band and the dance team was missing??

Yea, both the women and men were playing at the same time. Thus both the band and cheer were basically half size. Student section didnt seem too bad for a flurry monday night. Though my section was fairly empty in the BC.

The dance team was watching the women defeat Sacred Heart 77-55 at the AL.

Was at the game too - nice offense - I like what Buzz is doing, posting up guards, etc. - working!  Hazel was great, Burke not so great; Wes ruled again - awesome. JM and LH had great games as well; DJ missed a lot of FTs and shots.
We gave up WAY too many points tho - way too many.  And we fouled way too much too - some bad calls, but we still fouled way too much - and with a thin bench, this could really hurt us.

Nice to be at the game - but the BC was pretty empty.

A quote I found interesting from the recap from Hayward, re: Matthews.

"I think he's a lot more comfortable," said teammate Lazar Hayward, who scored 19 of his 21 points in the second half. "This offense is predicated on guys who can do a lot of different things. That's why he stands out a little more than last year."

super icy conditions was a big reason.
my ride took nearly 55 minutes to get to Tosa from Elm Grove!!.. bridges closed, heavy traffic.
then it took another :30 to get to the game from Tosa.
lucky it was  foul fest, as we arrived with 8:00 left in the first half.

nasty night.

It's about time Wes got his.

DJ peaked early in his MU career. Jerel got last year's limelight. Now, Wes is showing he deserves equal recognition.

I say redshirt them all and bring them back for one more year!
