As well as Jerel played last year down the stretch his 3 point shooting was still horrendous. Yet he shot more and more of them. My biggest fear this year is Jerel attempts to help the team by boosting his scoring, much of it by three point shooting. He is a poor 3 point shooter, i do not think that will change much.
Tonight same old situation he has missed 8 shots to this point 5 of them being 3 pointers. Drive the ball Jerel and shoot 2 pointers, that is your bread and butter. Jerel shooting 3's is not our best option, no where near it.

Well, he's 1 for 8 tonight from beyond the arc.
We always suck shooting the ball to start the year. I remember sweating many opening games in the Crean era most notably friggin Hillsdale with atrocious outside shooting. Lets see if the guys get into a better groove. A lot of Jerel's threes were wide open shots but if he's not feeling it after a few attempts he should be more in create mode.
