Title: Is This The New Catch Phrase?

What the hell is a skillset? What language are you speaking? Either you can play or you can't. Not that scientific. First heard Buzz refer to a player's abilities in this way and thought it was odd. Now, everyone on this board seems to incorporate this phrase as well. What's up with that?

another insiteful response by stone cold.  Sure is great to have someone who adds so much to the board, obviously he has a huge skillset.

Skill Set makes perfect sense.

Case in point, Ousmane Barro.

"Barro is a tower in the middle and can block or "change" shots, but he lacks the skill set (i.e., catch the ball, pass well, make close shots, dominate the boards) it takes to be an effective center."
