- Jeff Goodman from Fox continues his bullish tone for the Warriors noting (http://msn.foxsports.com/cbk/story/8726612/What-I%27ve-learned:-Second-tier-closing-in-on-Heels) that "The senior guards at Marquette have really bought in to their new coach, Buzz Williams."

- According to the Big East Basketball Report, Marquette is the leader for Shane Southwell (http://bebballmarquette.blogspot.com/2008/10/shane-southwell-talks-marquette.html), a 6'5" guard from New York City. Southwell, a 2010 prospect, who visited MU for Marquette Madness last weekend, is hoping to field an offer from Memphis -- so don't hold your breath on this one just yet. Jamel Jackson seems like an absolute liability academically...not to mention doesn't seem too impressive on the basketball court.
I would think the academics at Technical Careers Institute might raise a red flag at the MU admissions office.
