That was an odd statement by Crean. I thought the crowd their was pathetic. Much like it was at Seton Hall last year.
Some of the crap TC says this isn't very believable. In fact, IMO most of it.

Ironic that you say TC isn't very "believable"...as the word "unbelievable" is his favorite word.
Did he work Wade into the radio post game show? Travis? Steve?
what is he gonna say about UConn, Ville, PITT etc?
Just once I wish he were more like Calhoun and come out and say what he really feels. I love the guy but his coachspeak is ridiculous sometimes.
agreed, ecompt. the crowd?
my goodness ....... PC beat MU up last night, just re-state the obvious rather than going to the amended Crash Davis book of cliches
I agree that I think Crean needs to rip the overall team effort in the media. I think this team needs a serious ego check. Since the Duke game, we've played worse and worse. Perhaps it would have been better to lose vs. Duke and to play like a hungry team with a chip on our shoulder.
Like I said last night, Jerel is the team MVP and team leader in my opinion.
Ripping your team in the media? That works? Gosh, don't let any other BE coaches hear that, or our secret weapon will be used by all.
Those kids know exactly how they are playing. They can discount their wins vs. the Morgan States, and know the record versus legit teams is ~2-3.
I would say 2-2 against legit teams with a bad loss to one of those morgan state type teams
On topic .. the box score had the Dunkin Donuts center at 8400. I'll bet that's pretty close to butts in seats. 8400 at the BC (when we have something to cheer about) .. sounds pretty good, especially near the court. The PC crowd was pumped and had lots to cheer for 40 minutes. Crean mentioning that isn't a big surprise. Even with an arena that was probably 25% empty, it was small, and those who are there were fired up.
I was there and 8,400 seemed like the right number. The crown was very sedate. The follow up dunk in the second half was the only time you could remotely call them loud.
