Thanks for showing some restraint people, makes this place a joy to moderate :) Bad game. Couldn't score, and couldn't stop their big guys. Oh well, props to Providence, onto 'Cuse.
Now, I'm going to go do some grocery shopping and cool down...
Apparently the board has given up on this team....

Unfortunately, the Orangemen lost tonight as well. Another team that doesn't want to start 0-2. Sunday is going to be tough.
peep!!!
I think folks are at a loss for words and aren't really sure what to think of the team. Jerel has probably been our best player over the last month or so and we definitely missed his defensive impact tonight. I think right now, he's our MVP and best player.
We'll have to see how we perform on Sunday vs. Syracuse. Let's face it, if we lose, we're looking at the prospect of being 0-3 to start the conference season when most of us thought we'd be 3-0. We've got a long way to go but my expectations of this team have dropped dramatically since our win vs. Duke. They've rebounded to be a top team and we're gonna be fighting to stay in the top 25. Maybe winning that game was the worst thing for this team and we got a little too cocky. Can I say cocky?? ;D

buy some toilet paper so we can clean this crap up...
I don't think a majority of us were expecting to go 3-0. 2-1 would have been optimistic as Syracuse is a tough team for us to play against considering their zone defense and great talents followed by a game at UConn. We all new that the first month of the conference schedule was going to be difficult. I was really hoping for a win tonight but it wasn't in the cards. We have a lot of deficiencies that need to be corrected and probably will be by the end of the year.

Correct... 18 of 21 folks have us losing to UConn so that would 2-1. That said, 76% of us had MU starting the conference schedule at 2-1.

Well I guess 2-1 is still a possibility. Now would a 1-2 start be devastating?
