ESPN Power Rankings
« on: January 16, 2023, 11:43:36 AM »
MU joins Xavier and UConn in the latest Power Rankings.  They say we are a few bounces of the ball from being a consensus Top 10-15 team.

From the Power Rankings' blurb on UConn: "Road losses to Xavier, Providence and Marquette, while not ideal, were understandable. Those are the three best teams in the league outside of the Huskies, and Xavier and Providence are high-level atmospheres."

Shot fired at MU's atmosphere. Ouch.

I am assuming that is sarcasm.
Luke 6:45   ...A good man produces goodness from the good in his heart; an evil man produces evil out of his store of evil.   Each man speaks from his heart's abundance...

It is better to be fearless and cheerful than cheerless and fearful.

They've heard about our mobile app ordering, cashless stands, long men's room lines and lack of popcorn.

Plus Budwesier.

Fiserv is big and hasn’t exactly been the most difficult place to get a win compared to other places since we started playing there.

Also, the media hates us.

Additionally the Fiserv is in bed with The Mecca so not exactly a homecourt advantage when your homecourt is a Badgers fan.

I smuggled deli sandwiches into MSG during the BET and got caught just once at the entrance. Went back out, sized up which check-in line had a guy who looked like he didn't give a rat's ass if you did that, and got in on try #2. Coats with oversized pockets are ideal for this.

Curious Scoopers are dying to know what kind of sandwiches they were. A nice kosher pastrami from Katz's, perhaps?
