2002, well said. Not all fraternities are created equal. A lot of chapters do great work in their community... it just looks like this chapter of Sigma Chi is a bad egg.

Actually the MU chapter had an assault filed against them, although it was against a guy that was not a member of the chapter, but it happened in their house.

(Can't find an article to back it up, but I want to say it was in 2007-2008).

Sorority Girls are way too easy, it's embarrassing, if you wear North Face-so my friends were out because we wore sweaters/sweatshirts and our mommies and daddies didn't buy that smug s***.  

I would love to see the correlation between Frat/Sorority and North Face purchases.

It's not a sweeping generalization when 4/5 do it (maybe it is, but it isn't that far off).

I for one am glad that "collar popping" is a fad that struck after my time at MU.  Although it was everywhere in Europe when I studied abroad.

from my 4 years at MU, i really had no issue with the sororities.  maybe nonfrat guys hated frat boys and nonsorority girls hated sorositutes, who knows. all i know is i do not regret for one moment not joining a frat at MU.  A lot of the guys in the frats were the biggest D-bags on campus and not associating with them was a great call.  once you get past all the BS that they tell you about how great it is to join a frat, it really is nothing to brag about.  i would put my group of friends from MU up against any MU frat in any competition... well other than contests involving "roofie slipping" "collar popping" "sh*t talking" "american eagle shopping" and basically anything else d-bags do on a weekly basis.

The Evans Scholar house is the farthest thing from a frat and therefore i do not include them in the "greek" system.  those guys and girls in that house were all pretty decent people and i never had a probelm with them.

I don't think you would find "one of those golf bag carrying" guys that would be insulted by you calling them drunks, hell they would probably pull a beer out of that bag and thank you by chugging it in your face.
