Doc Rivers could have been a Warrior or a Bull
« on: July 23, 2014, 06:46:16 PM »
In 1982, Golden State traded their 1983 2nd round pick (Doc's pick) to the Bulls.

In 1983, Bulls then sent that pick to the Hawks as compensation for Kevin Loughery (Head Coach).
Hawks then drafted Doc.

What annoyed me about Doc as a pro was that as a pro, he was a proficient free throw shooter.  But while at Marquette, he was mediocre at best.

I feel better now.
All this talk of rights.  So little talk of responsibilities.

And I hated the way Wade held back on his mid-range game for three years at MU

Three years?

He watched him in the Old Gym and Rec shooting around while he sat out his first year. ;)
