Whether he's named or not, Eric Gagne was on the juice.  Once baseball started testing, he lost ten mph on his fast ball and never lived up to his legend.

Now now, it's entirely possible Mench has looked like Thing from the Fantastic Four for his entire life...  That said, I wouldn't bet money he's clean.

fielder has always been a big guy, he never needed steroids. as for shrek... i mean mench, i dont know, but that is one huge nog hes got on his shoulders.  regardless, the crew designated him for assignment... adios el camencho!

edit: i just remembered mota got 50 games last season for drugs

I think Braun is clean... along with most of the other Brewers, maybe its just me, but most of the Brewers are all young, when Steroids have been looked at so negative, and been out there as a problem.  They didnt have the time like Bonds where MLB just turned their head...

maybe that is just a die hard Brewer fan hoping.

Also keep in mind Mench's shoes didn't fit anymore.  Put that with the fact he has one of the largest heads in baseball!

I'd guess Gagne, Mota, Turnbow, and Mench.

The bigger issue is, why is this going to be made a huge deal of?  Sean Merriman got caught and he's in a prominent Nike commerical and the talking heads rarely (if ever) bring up the suspension, but anyone in baseball even associated with steroids or amphs is thought of as a Satan spawn.  Quite ridiculous, really, between the difference in portrayal of NFL players vs MLB players.

It's true Keith. I care more about MLB than the NFL, but that is not true for the rest of America. I think it comes down to the type of sport, while Merriman took 'roids he still needed the rest of his team. Barry Bonds can get up to bat and put up a run on the board, and quite possibly win the game on his own.

I think the NFL needs to get their players under control outside of the game first, and then start looking into their own steroids problem.

(Former Brewer) Geoff Jenkins, Gagne...Turnbow depends on exactly what they report, how far back they go etc. He is known to have used them several years ago. Not sure he will be in ther for any recent activity though. I would be very surprised to see a Week, Fielder or Braun in there. Minor leagues were far more vigilant at the time they were there.
