Joplin should rarely, if ever, drive to the basket. Always looks so slow and has no explosiveness or elevation.

Refs, refs, refs…..

They are not the ones getting pummeled on the boards, outhustled for loose balls, terrible interior basketball shooting and 1 for 6 from three in second half.

10 to go, let’s go….

Refs have been mostly fine today. The charge on Chase was ridiculous but for the most part they’ve been solid. Definitely not the problem.
Yeah I wouldn’t say they’re the problem but there’s a small disparity in calls in the paint. Oso fouled on a make. Kolek fouled in baseline. Ross on a drive. Meanwhile Nunge getting calls down low

Agreed. The only other possible complaint would be pushes when we drive along the baseline, but those very often don't get called, so can't really pick a nit there.

We just are getting out worked on the boards and on loose balls. Also, not being as aggressive attacking the rim under control this half.

I think you should go back to Dodds’ board.

Xavier got sloppy, that was our chance to strike, but we looked no different than them.

A lot of tired legs on both sides right now.

Xavier letting us hang around. If the bounces go our way these last 6.5 minutes, I like our chances.

No Top 5 team in the Big East has lost at home yet this year.

We have a chance to change that. Here we go!

MU 1 for 8 now on threes in second.

Jones had two layups blocked.
Mitchell has missed two layups
Omax has missed two layups
Joplin one, we’ll don’t know what it was, but close.
Kolek has cement in shoes going for loose balls.

All in second half. Better start making them, they can do this.

Kam has been quiet since the beginning of the game.  He may have to go on a little run.

They didn't have an issue scoring against MU's defense.  Or beating MU on their home court.

There's just over 5 minutes left, no single player has to go on a run, they just have to be crisp as a unit.
