Nice half.  Need more involvement from OMax, Oso, Jones.

Tyler is surgically carving up X’s defense

I thought Chase was fouled there. Tremendous half for Kolek.  Defensively we can't let Jones in particular casually go to the rim unimpeded.

Disappointed in Kolek's low assist numbers
If you think for one second that I am comparing the USA to China you have bumped your hard.

WTF is Shaka thinking putting Oso in up 6 with 1:30 left..of course they are going to attack Oso.

I think that was what the refs were telling him after the TO, if you put your big with 2 fouls in again when you are up 6, with 1:30 left, we will call a foul out of principle for you being so stupid...

Or, to explain, don't touch your players when they are dribbling up the court.

Solid first half.  Now it’s time for Shaka’s second half strategy.  Let’s win this one!

Time for some Shaka half-time adjustments and we put this away!

We should probably be up 10-14 when you add up the missed D-rebs and loose balls.  Kolek will need s breather at some point in the 2H.

Need to come out like we're down 4 instead of up 4. Good half, Xavier decided to make Tyler a scorer and Tyler said "okay, if that's what you really want." Need to keep attacking because this team can still score in buckets and they have the shot-makers even if they're 2/9 from three so far.

Come out strong, and better defense and more turnovers for x.

To be up four is pretty good, without Oso for nine minutes, but Shaka basically gave X four points in last 1:30 by putting him in.  Two layups, strange, strange move, even Rafferty said it.  Why, who knows.....

MU slowed down with threes, 5 for 12, with FOUR airball shots.  FOUR.

Two offensive rebounds to 11 by X, Nunge destroying them.  Plus overall rebounding.

To be up with Oso sitting, four airballs, lack of rebounding, is quite outstanding. Miller going to make adjustments with Kolek driving to rim with left hand, and of course Freemantle will return.

Keep it up, and of course, those darn refs again.

Agreed. Grab the rebounds and we are up double digits.

100% correct.  We should attack, and attack, and attack, and attack.  Then we can open up the barrage from distance.  Defensively I'd like to see a little more attention to detail.  Thwart the easy dribble drive and maybe take a charge once in awhile.  Box-out as well because we're getting abused on the glass.

We suck at rebounding. We lose those battles just about every time.

There’s no reason Kam and even Mitchell can’t attack the way Kolek has. Need more offense than just TK attacking the basket

Hopefully they ask Shaka post-game what the rationale was for that decision.  I'm totally perplexed by what the thought process was there.

Sometimes we simply do not grab the ball.  Drives me nuts.

X is going to regress on 3s, where they're shooting  22%. Gotta be prepared for a run there, although they don't shoot a ton

X will switch from touch football to tackle.  Kolek will get fouled 5 times by 3 players on each drive in the 2H.  Miller counts on the home whistle.

MU needs 2nd half adjustments as well.  X will shut down Kolek and continue to shut down OSO.  OMax needs to be better in the half court and need more live ball turnovers.
