My Georgia napkin math:

If 65% of outstanding ballots go for Biden, he'll win by about 1k.

70% puts it about 5-6k for Biden.

75%, Biden wins by 10k.

Snapshot of Georgia County percentages thus far. Biden took Harris County 50-48, was expected to lose it. Much of the remaining votes should be heavy Biden geographies.

Try reframing the argument.  Facts won't convince people.  For a lot of people, you have to personalize it. Involving your wife, and her family's story would be important.  You can't yank them over to your side, you have to change their hearts first then their minds will come along eventually.

I tried that with my wife's sister, a middle-class daughter of immigrants who got into Harvard. While debating Legacy Admissions I was asked her if she would have liked it if she lost her spot to a Legacy admit and just said "that would have never happened to me." Head, meet wall!

Some, like her and my parents, are just set in their ways.

Both will be below 50.0%, and will have to go at it again in a January run-off election, per Georgia law. The Electoral College is Dec.14th, so Congress will have to meet to reschedule, per constitution.

Biden keeps overtaking Trump in county after county in Pennsylvania. Bucks, Erie, Lehigh etc....those are super close until...mail votes.....Biden 73% Erie mail votes. 91% Philly mail in votes to Biden etc...

I don't believe that applies to the presidential elections, just the others.

I think that's only for their congressional seats. Not presidential elections.

Those races should be interesting considering they may be for the power of the Senate.  And what will turnout be without Trump?  What will it be if Trump pulls some sort of hail mary comeback?

They will be the biggest races over the next two years... and they happen in TWO MONTHS.

PA is weird. The Biden camp thinks they have it solidly. Trump camp thinks they will win it by 40k votes, and are more worried about Georgia.

They can't both be right, and you'd assume they both are basing things off internal numbers.

Another batch of votes came in for Georgia, unsure which counties they were from.

Biden: 4,708 (76.3%)
Trump: 1,462 (23.7%)

Net Gain of 3,246 for Biden.

Assuming there weren't that many third party votes, that puts Trump's lead at 9,525 with ~41,000 votes left to be counted.

If my math is right, Biden now needs ~61.5% of the remaining votes to win by a threadbare count

If we only knew which of those two groups had integrity...

Biden has an easier chance to win Pennsylvania.

In Georgia, w/the DT lead down to 9k, Chatham County still has 17k plus. It's heavy Biden, Savannah etc...small batches elsewhere...Clayton, Fulton, dominant Biden locations.

https://twitter.com/tbonier/status/1324472051873255429?s=19

In Pennsylvania, their Secretary of State said there was 550,000 plus votes to be counted today. This amount would give Biden more than enough total vote quantity to win.

Georgia will be closer. But it appears if these numbers are correct, Biden will win both and eventually get into the 300 plus Electoral Vote range.

If you have some spare cash lying around, go buy a TV station in Georgia. Going to be a bazillion dollars of ads flooding the state for the next two months.

Pennsylvania Sec of State just now said very few provisional ballots have been counted thus far. That number will be unusually high this year. Many Biden voters requested mail ballots but instead did provisional ballots in person due to USPS concerns. Another big thing for vote quantity and Biden.

This will also help Biden in Georgia too.

People are going to be pissed and there will be a TON of conspiracy theories (deep state, dems cheat) because of all the tracking sites.  For a while it has looked like almost all the votes are counted, and now people keep hearing about more ballots being found.  The next couple of months will not be fun.

This is why we needed all received ballots to be counted as they came in.

Today's vote county out of reliably red Cumberland County, Penn.
Biden - 20K
Trump - 9K

So, he picked up 11,000 votes in a county Trump was +17.

Biden is winning mail in votes in just about every single county in the state of Pennsylvania. And in many, he is destroying DT in those results.

Many votes still out there as well. Biden will possibly take the lead just by Philly alone, let alone the 25k in Lehigh where he is crushing it etc ..and several places elsewhere.

Holy unnatural carnal knowledge that was the whiny-est speech from an elected official, ever. Forget Presidents, I doubt there has ever been a person running for school board that was so pathetic.

Honestly I think it was so over the top pathetic that it probably cost him support among his allies. I don’t think it will lead to anything but rats jumping off the sinking ship.
