Marquette transfers, this millennium

Silverwarrior breaks down every freshman to enter MU since 2000.    He makes a couple of late adjustments.    The short version is that 50% of the players this millennium who have started their careers as freshmen at MU have left to play somewhere else before completing 4 seasons at MU.

Yay, for stability.
Transfer activity is nothing new to MU.   NYG referenced how rare it is for MU to not have players transfer out.    This is data that supports that.
There will be years when players choose to transfer.     That is the norm.    I expect those will be the years that Shaka dips into the portal.

After 4 years at MU.  Silver's criteria.

Bad criteria. They still transferred.

OK.  Is his overall point changed or invalid because of this?

Absolutely is not. Those individuals still have the same piece of paper at the end of the day that you have. If it were any average alum getting a masters elsewhere you wouldn't say they were the same as a person who left after 1, 2, 3 years to get an undergrad degree elsewhere. So it's not the same in this instance.
