summary of article:  I didn't write clearly.  I didn't check my sources properly.  I wanted to break the story before anyone and was reckless with my comments.

My guess is now Blue is an academic all-star for remaining at UW Hyphen rather than going to that lowly reject school Marquette.

Still got seven months......where there's fire.....

Will be interesting to see if Pitino still recruits Blue hard and maybe even Buzz.

He wouldn't have gotten into MU anyway.

Oh so now the meeting was just about some minor issue and everyone was happy-go-lucky. I get it, makes perfect sense. And ya this story will definitely just go away quietly.

Yup....all the attacks on MU by UW-madison fans for taking a risk kid seem to no longer be valid.  Incredible.

That article changed nothing substantively, but the author got his hand-slapped for some of his comments.

The best part of the entire thing was Tim Maymon's comments:

"Nobody has talked to my son and my son has not talked to Vander about his recruiting. My son and Vander only talk about girls and prom. And now that prom is over, they don’t discuss anything."

Classic.

Plus the kid has overbearing parents.
And was easily confused by the smooth talk coming from Keaton Nankivil.

That's too funny.  Hopefully Vander will read some of his future "fans" comments, and decide to back out since they clearly don't think he's up to their standards.  lol.

Vander is not 'Badger material' unless of course he picks the Badgers and then he is another example of athletics and academics coming together.

From the article: "My sources tell me that no officials from Memorial or the UW have yet to hear him say he wants to look at other schools."

Apparently he learned English from Steve Zissou..."If you're not against me, don't cross this line! If yes, do."

I love Tim Maymon! Can we mic him up for all home games? The sound bites would be priceless!! But he still can't hold Freeway's jock!

summary of article: I, Rob Schultz, am an a$$hat and Bo Ryan threatened to string me up by my toes if I didn't do everything possible to "clear up" the $#itstorm I started.

This article doesn't prove anything one way or the other... it's a bunch of nonsense.  The facts/ rumors remain the same, whatever this jag-bag says.

Where there is smoke, there is fire.  I still say Blue de-commits and does NOT go to UW.

The UW internet fanbase has come out of the last day looking like one giant douchebag. Completely poor form. A clear tossing under the bus of Vander Blue. The hilarity from this point forward will be inescapable.

If I were Vander and I read some of the comments from the UW board I would look elsewhere.

If I were Vander and I read the leaks from the meeting which clearly suggest that I'm a bad (and lazy) student, I would look elsewhere.

Screw the message board comments.  We all know that people who post on message boards are nutjobs.  What's really disturbing here is that someone at that meeting leaked information that should have been private, and did so in a way that was really unflattering.

Is anyone friends with the guy, or at least his 'Facebook friend'?  I flat out want to see what this guy is posting.
Thanks for ruining summer, Canada.

chicos, that's his "fan" page, no different than a business or nonsense like "beer."  (hell, I made one for Woodman's!)

I think his real facebook has been deactivated.
