2016 five-star guard Mustapha Heron is currently visiting Marquette after also unofficially visiting Alabama over the weekend according to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports.
A 6-5, 200-pound power guard out of Waterbury (Conn.) Sacred Heart High School, Heron is ranked No. 25 in the 247Sports Composite. He along with Rawlie Alkins and Josh Langford are all uniquely physically imposing five-star guards.
Heron's recruitment is now wide open after decommitting from Pittsburgh. St. John's is considered the leader in his recruitment now that Barry Rohrssen is an assistant coach there. He was former teammates with Heron's father and recruited Heron while at Pittsburgh.
