Box score.     MU made 7 of their last 12 3's.

Some people accept mediocrity, I demand perfection.  Anyone enjoying themselves really needs to get a Meister Brau and understand without a win in March, it means nothing

Disagree. This means everything. Hoping for a great March run but to go from where we were in 2021 to this is nothing short of incredible. I desperately want more and to see this team play in the second/third weekend. But they don’t have to win another game for this campaign to be an unequivocal success.

Guys

I am at a loss for words for tonight. Congrats to a proud program and MU Nation. Going to have a little bourbon and celebrate.

What a capitol idea! I'm not much of a colored liquor guy but when I do it is this and I'm enjoying a little right now.

Did they actually cut the nets? It didn’t seem like it, plus it would be pretty weird to do it on the road. Any chance they’d do it Saturday? Or would that be celebration overkill

No finish line! We ain’t done yet

Maybe. Kind of indicates a finish line type situation so maybe not?

I’ve had the good fortune to cheer for a lot of very good and a handful of great Marquette teams in the last 57 years. I don’t know yet where this year’s will ultimately rank on that list but I can honestly say that no Marquette TEAM - ever - has made me more proud to have a connection with the University.

So happy for the coaches, players and fans. I hope everyone (Farley and Nolongerwarriors included) are celebrating tonight. This team is special.

Lenny

Hope you are enjoying the championship. I 100% agree on the special bond this team created and how it is has made Marquette University proud. There have been, and will be, better teams, but none more special than this season. I hope everyone is enjoying being part of a special night and season in MU history.

Kolek went live for about a minute on Instagram just now. Him and the team enjoying championship “milkshakes” and partying in the locker room.

“Only thing I gotta say is, f*ck ‘em”.

Then he ends the live feed. Gold

Disappointing game.  Should have won by 30 but the offense was sloppy.  13 turnovers is unacceptable.  I’d make each guy walk around campus with a basketball in his arms at all time and offer coeds a $1 every time they knock it out of their hands.

Butler had 14 free throws to Marquette’s 5.  Where was the fire from Shocka?  Al would have gotten a technical.

34 points for Butler in the second half?  Can anyone say turnstile?  Another second half letdown.

Finally, Cam was 4-11.  Big East champs or not, that’s the biggest takeaway from this game.  Cam needs to ride pine
Would have been funnier if it were Kam.
