But will 100% of the people who made a bet on the over/under redeem their "winnings" (or just money back)?

Not sure I'm understanding you correctly, but -

If they wanted to win 100 on the  over (or the under) 153, they gave the casino 110 to hold until after the game. When the total landed on 153, they presented their ticket to the casino and their 110 was returned to them.

This is correct, Lennys Tap.  The only winners were those that took the over at 150.5-152.5  OR those that got the under at 153.5-154.  But the original statement was discussing 153 points exactly, and nobody wins there.  All bets are returned.

I mean that some people who placed a bet in person at the sportsbooks in Vegas may have done so when the lines opened, left Vegas, and never mailed in their ticket. Or lost their ticket while still in Vegas.

Obviously much different as months had passed between my placing my bet and my bet hitting, but I was in Vegas in the March before the Packers won the SB, put a minimum bet on the Packers at 9:1 to win the SB, and then lost my ticket before they did win the SB, so I didn't get my winnings.

I would bet Vegas had *some* unclaimed O/U bets from that game.

Also not sure how the return on a parlay would work. If I bet Gonzaga to cover and UNC/Oregon either over or under, I lose the bet on Gonzaga not covering, so do I get half of my money back for the O/U pushing? I would assume so.

that's an easy one as well.  If you filled out a parlay card (like they have on big weekends or opening round of NCAA tourney), they are often "Ties Lose."  If you did the parlay at the window by reciting numbers, then the game is declared a push and the wager is reduced by a game.  So a 2-team parlay with a push would result in the wager being reduced to a 1-game straight wager.  The payout would be adjusted accordingly.

Wrong. They get zero juice on a push. All the money wagered is returned to the bettors.

So what are the odds that the Zags will get called, I mean commit more fouls than UNC in the first half of tonights game?

Probably roughly the same that the Wildcats would get called, I mean commit more fouls than UNC in the first half of last year's game, I would guess?

Really? This surprises me. When I bet online and do parlays, a tie is counted as a win. So if I do a 6 team parlay and 5 of my teams win with 1 push, I get paid out the full amount.

So then Vegas got the money from any UNC vs. Oregon O/U 153 bet that was part of a parlay as well.

No, I never said that.  If I bet a 2 game parlay for $25, the potential payout is roughly $93 ($25 wager + the winnings).  The first wins and UNC-Oregon +153 pushes, the result is that it is reduced to a single game $25 winning wager that pays roughly $46-48 (too lazy to load a wager calculator).  House gets no money.

I haven't done anything online in years, but I can speak to Vegas as I'm there several times a year.  I would look at the rules on your websites...they may declare ties win.  In Vegas, ties either push or lose depending on it you use the weekend/event parlay card or just state the numbers at the window.
