As long as it doesn't have a rubber sole, I think you are good.
Plus, you get into the VIP area automatically if you are in a wheelchair. Not many people know that.

I was back fighting fires 17 days after I got mine done. But it didn't feel completely pain free for almost a year.

Amazed at how well people are taking this news. Other programs would look at Steve Taylor and Todd Mayo having surgery, not to mention Vander's early departure from MU.. and be singing 'woe is me'. I think the unbelievable amount of injuries and other odd happenings for this program over the past several years has built up a tolerance to bad news for a lot of people. Which is good in many ways.
Best wishes for Todd in his recovery and also to ZFB who is considering surgery this fall as well (sequential hermaphrodite).

Nonetheless, I'm not going to give you a history lesson.
The last year has been calmer than normal, but you still had the unusual "transfer out, transfer in" players (Juan and Jake), Todd Mayo being out for the first semester, Juan Anderson's ~6 month rehab after offseason shoulder surgery leading up to the beginning of the season, Vander's knee injury at USC (that kept him out of action for a game) and a number of guys playing through injury during parts the season.
If you go back to prior year(s), the list becomes a lot longer.

First of all it does not appear to be a serious injury. Second of all if he cannot play it means more time for JJJ, Burton and Anderson.

The injury bug hits all teams at some point. To suggest that the injuries that have occurred to MU the last several years are 'unbelievable' is certainly overstating it. Jfb's concussion? What bad luck we have.

For the record I wasn't suggesting it was unbelievable (only years I think we were unbelievably unlucky was 08-09 and 09-10). I was just listing injuries

Pretty rigid with your word definitions there, Tex. Hope you spent some time whining to yourself that there is no such thing as "the injury bug".
MU has had far more than its fair share of injuries and other odd happenings over the past several years. If you disagree, that's fine, you're wrong. If you agree, but just don't like using "unbelievable" to describe it, you're a whiner.

Um 08-09 was when we were incredibly unlucky with James getting injured down the stretch costing us a shot at the league title and a deeper tournament run.

Wesley Matthew injured right before tournament.
Dominc James injured during tournament.
We had some pretty bad injuries during pivotal points in the season over the last 10 years.

Grimm hurt his elbow.
Nobody mentioned Gardners shoulder as a freshmen. He missed 3 games and was not as effective afterwards.
Nobody mentioned Gardner's knee as a sophomore. He missed at least 7 games and dragged his leg around after that.

Basically a ligament is connective tissue that connects bone to bone. A tendon connects muscle to bone. There's a little confusing mix-up of the terms referring to the front of the knee, but essentially it's all tendon, and the kneecap is just a big sesamoid bone ( a bone in tendon).
