It is. A perfect end to a bad season, Jake put his head down instead of dribbling it, stupid one dribble and they follow you

I can't wait to hear the token excuse Buzz gives for Derrick's stupid foul.

Really glad I didnt see the end of that game because one of the windows in Raynor may have had a new hole in it...

Twice Buzz didn't do it.  Twice, both with like 7 seconds left.  Terrible coaching

Why would he call timeout when expecting Jake to be fouled? Plenty of things to criticize in this one, but that isn't one of 'em.

Gosh....would have been such a great team victory...some key plays by freshman...Jake hit big shots down stretch...but damn he has to know he has a timeout when he buried his head and got tied up..
"I'm not sure Cadougan would fix the problems on this team. I'm not even convinced he would be better for this team than DeWil is."

I lost count of how many time D. Wilson tried to lose that game for us.  Deonte was killing it out there and buzz didn't even use him in overtime.  good job

You are taught at such a young age not to do what Jake did there...for that very reason.

HUGE CHOKE. DERRICK AND JAKE CRAPPED THE BED BIGTIME.

And why the hell did Buzz have Derrick in there at the end--the worse FT shooter on the team.
I thought you were dead. Willie lives rent free in Reekers mind.

It didn't look like a foul, but I get your point.  Good heads-up play by cotton.

Looking at the replay, don't think he got fouled.  They played it pretty smart.  Didn't grab him, didn't do the normal intentional foul thing.  Almost looked like it was a planned play, see if he will hold it for a second, try for the tie up and if it doesn't work then foul.

I've seen this happen now twice in the last two years, same idea and each time it has worked for the defensive team.  Could have sworn it happened to MU last year....maybe it was IU...can't remember.

Please tell me DW announces he's leaving early on Sat.  How the unnatural carnal knowledge do you do what he did?  MU had the ball up 1!  How the unnatural carnal knowledge do you do that?  Inexcusable!

Because he mistakenly believes he recruited a talented player and refuses to play those who are superior.  So frustrating.

Congrats to Mayo in spite of a coach who doesn't support him he had the best game of his career. If Buzz has any objectivity left we should see him start against St. Johns. This season is over but if Buzz learned the best players are not always the ones you like or play the best in practice or look like NBA players. The best players are those who can win games. Mayo was a winner tonight. He deserves SoG. Although the team lost. Marquette has found a leader. This should, therefore, be the first SoG in a loss.

He did the right thing...sort of. Ok to hold the ball like that and draw the foul, you just don't keep it stationary as he did so they can reach in and grab it...if the ball is moving, its a foul.

Cooley told the refs prior to the inbound they were going for a jump ball before the foul.  He planted the seed.

This was Derrick's worst game in a MU uniform. He was the bizarro version of Mayo out there. Perplexed that he got so much more run than Dawson in this one. Hopefully the DeWilson experiment is over. Use him for defensive purposes only like Otule but give Dawson the lion's share of minutes here on out as well as next year. Great kid, glad he's at MU, just not a starting 30+ mpg PG on a team that has any postseason aspirations.

You really have no clue.  Todd has received more support from Buzz than pretty much anyone on this earth outside of his family.

I can't believe they have a high school inbounds play at this point of the season, crushing loss! What is wrong with
this team and coaches? No one gets better and the year is over..........
