IU playing its way into the NIT
« on: March 03, 2015, 08:08:07 PM »
If they don't beat Sparty at home, it will be a complete meltdown down the stretch.   Will only making the NIT accomplish what all of the DUI's and drug issues couldn't?

The crowd leaving early was very telling.
Thanks for ruining summer, Canada.

Are you forgetting that collapsing down the stretch is a Crean specialty?

I called Crean getting fired the same year his BIL got canned.

What a "banner" year for the CreaBaughs!

I actually hope they pull out a win vs. Sparty a) to see Crean's self satisfied reaction and b) so they keep him. He's reached comedic levels far beyond what he achieved at Marquette (plus, it wasn't so funny here). He's become a national punching bag. Twitter during IU games is great!

This has been so, so predictable.

By the way, that Iowa team played a nearly flawless game last night. The Big 10 stinks this year, other than Wisky, but  the Hawkeyes looked great for 40 minutes.

Lunardi has Indiana as one of the last 4 in as of today so if Indiana doesn't win any more games, they could easily be off the dance floor.

There's no question the bloom is officially off the rose. Still likely they make the tournamnet, and still highly likley he will be back at IU next year. That's fine. Watching him flounder in mediocrity is kinda fun. If he gets fired, he'll go work as an NBA assistant somewhere, and we just won't have him to kick around anymore. Where's the fun in that?

Agreed. It really takes away from the Derrick Wilson threads.

If crean gets fired and Derrick graduates, this place might as well shut down.

Until Derrick returns as Director of Basketball Operations or Graduate Assistant

Didn't think they put out a press release yet.
