Kolek planning to go pro
TAMUI do know, Newsie is right on you knowing ball.
https://painttouches.com/2024/04/19/2024-big-east-roster-tracker/We did this two seasons ago and decided to bring it back this season. An all in one resource that shows what each Big East team is losing, what they're gaining, and what's still up in the air this offseason. We'll be updating every few days.Marquette looking very stable.Depaul and Xavier looking very unstable but bringing in a lot transfers to hopefully come back stronger.St. John's looking very unstable and no movement yet in the portal
Mentions Hopkins of Providence returning from injury as an addition. No mention of Sean Jones for Marquette.
Honestly, not sure we'll see Jones next year. If his timetable is February, is it worth him giving up a year of eligibility like freshman Junior Cadougan did for 6 weeks of playing time?
For the player, preserving eligibility is in their best interest. For the school, it depends. Keeping Greg Elliott out hurt Marquette's guard depth in 2019. Then Greg used his final year of eligibility at Pittsburgh. So Marquette didn't benefit in that scenario. If Tre, Zaide, and Damarius are playing well then it makes sense to let Sean sit out. But if we need depth and Sean in healthy enough to play effectively, I say play him.
coming back too soon risks a reinjury.
The assumption is that he would be cleared obviously.

https://painttouches.com/2024/04/19/2024-big-east-roster-tracker/Roster tracker updated. Every team except Marquette has an update this week, continuing our quiet offseason. Meanwhile Seton Hall has lost every one of their starters and all but one of their significant bench players. We also added some projected starting lineups and it is not looking good for the Pirate or Wildcats, both of whom we project starting multiple freshmen at this point.
I think it’s possible Seton Hall’s experience in the NIT won’t matter next season
Rico, as much as I enjoy your shtick, you gotta stop with the SHU/NIT.
