Ners just passed out

I got a good laugh. Shows he's a much better shooter when he goes into his shooting motion facing away from the basket. I did appreciate Derrick trying to watch his highlight as they came to the bench at the break. He was proud. I was too.

This years version of Derrick is easily 2 or 3 times better than last. I wish he was this confident on offense since he first got to MU.

Wish Sandy had shot the midrange instead of kicking to Derrick in the corner with the clock running down.

I'd rather DeWil take the three than JjJ.

Good follow by Du.

Classy middle finger by the student with the "Marquette Lacrosse" shirt on right before the timeout.  Way to represent the school...

I get that JJJ had to put up the three with the clock running out.  But then he pulled his classic "go for the steal and give up the layup" defense.

Solid performance by the starting five.  Rough day for the bench (1-8).

He's definitely better than last years offensive version. Then again he has yet to make a midrange jumper this year. All layups and 3 pointers. At least he's shot 25 3 point shots to at least make defenses consider guarding him on the perimeter this season as opposed to last.

Elbow to Juan's chin.  No foul?

Would've been a good screen...if he hadn't lifted his elbow.

I'm liking that it is a balanced attack. When just one or two guys are on, it seems that the offense gets bogged down, just waiting for them (typically Carlino, sometimes Du. Wilson) to 'do their thing.' Much better overall movement when there are more weapons.

JJJ has to call out those screens.  We'll be lucky if Juan isn't out with a concussion.

Who on this team, besides Carlino, has a midrange game?

Where is Chico's ?  Watching Indiana, Kansas or UCLA?

In Portland, OR about to head to a wedding and following the MU game in my phone.  Not even aware of who the other schools are playing nor do I care.

I'm dressed in a nice dark suit, with a very subtle pinstripe, blue and white pinstripe shirt, blue, black and grey tie.  Black shoes.  My wife is stunning in her dress.  It is a crisp 41 degrees in Portland.

What else would you like to know?

Agree.  Juan's 3s were a huge contribution....
