Just saying that most students have a lot of tests this week. I think the performance on the court is the main reason for a weak showing, but kids having a lot of work definitely doesn't help attendance.

However, I have 4 tests this week and I was there in the 2nd row, got there about an hour and a half before tipoff and stayed until the final buzzer. There are still true fans out there, and the bandwagoners will show up next year if we're as good as I hope we are.

I will never rip on students for not attending a basketball game. They're at MU to learn. That is their first priority--every time. If they're at the library or in some way furthering their education, I applaud them. For many college students, being a fan is not a concern. That's hardly a crime.

Seriously, it's a Tuesday night game and we are awful. What did people expect?

Call me concerned if it's not full for Natty Marquette Day.

The team sucks this year, what do you expect? Not everyone is a die-hard fan. Even sitting at the game is frustrating, why would anyone put themselves through that in person?

all I'm saying is that if 100 more students show up, Marquette only loses by 18

I think we all thought we'd get slaughtered but performed very well instead, obviously. Since the realignment it's been a different story. Almost embracing being mediocre. We no longer have that fire or intimidation factor we used to have

Who is "embracing being mediocre?"

haha you're fun to argue with

You're not arguing. You're just complaining.

Spare me, it's Marquette.  This ain't Harvard.

Does anyone know that husky kid in the first row who wears the Dominic James jersey every game?  Seems like he's been going to Marquette for 8 years.
