Preferred Way To Win?
« on: December 08, 2006, 01:00:33 PM »
So MonsterWebWarrior and I were having lunch today, because let's be honest, no true MU fan will get any work done today, and the discussion came up.

Would you rather have us win tomorrow ala an UConn type of game last year  (blowout) or ala a Notre Dame (say a game winning three to win by 1) type of game?

We decided that the Notre Dame way would be better as the Badgers would then feel like they had a chance to win, but essentially the last shot would be a square kick to the balls.  If it was a blowout, they could simply state "we didn't have it today, etc".

Thoughts?

A buzzer beater would be considere lucky by some.  I liked the game 2 years ago.  Jump on them early and keep the pedal down.

hands down... blow em out..

if we wanted to add insult to injury I'd say do it with our walk-ons starting and playing the entire game  ;D

I wouldn't mind a Duke like game...close for the entire game until DJ decides to turn it on in the last 5 minutes. That would be a good game to watch but still show the analysts who the best in WI is!

Wouldn't mind a scenario like that at all, but I would love to see Wes have the breakout game after the way he was treated in Madison last year.

Truth be told, I just want a win.

Definitely a blowout.  I want to see the look of disgust on all the Badger players and Bo cryin for 2 full hours as they realize they never had a chance.  I want the Badgers to turn the ball over 30 times.  I want to see Butch and Tucker foul out.  I want to see what Bo does as his team is getting dismantled.  Does he just sit at the bench and not say a word?  Does he send in the non-ship players early in the half?  I have come to despise the Badgers and their holier than thou attitudes.  I want a plain old a**-whippin.

I'm looking for a real good game that ends in an MU win!

If that comes by a blowout, great. If it comes on a last second shot, that's okay too. But I think a loss would ruin my finals week, and I sort of need to do well, so let's get a win!

Any way that has a larger number of points beneath MU's name on the BC scoreboard than the number of points beneath the University of Wisconsin-Madison's name.

I'll vote for blowout. A replay of that Division 2 game from last week that ended up 201-78 would do the trick.

Any win is acceptable.      85-60 would be reallllllly cool.

I don't want to allow Bucky 78 pts.  ;)
