I'm sorry. That was a choke.

WTF are you talking about?

Grade school kids know that rule. That's on MH.

I think he was going for a line drive off the front of the rim and missed it.

I could care less about the stupid scoring records, at end of games Howard is not clutch. the records mean nothing if he finishes his career without winning anything in a MU uniform

You are an assbag.

Should have fouled down 3 with 40 seconds left.   Had to know that even if we got a stop
Nova was going to foul.

Need to extend the game in that situation.

That's the difference between Wright and Wojo.

Insanely stupid....you or some other idiot brought this up last time and you were proven wrong with numerous example of clutch points in OT, down the stretch, etc....just stupid...really dumb.

Like the Duke/UNC miss, Howard was going for.

WTF are you talking about?

Bricking a free throw, one of two actually, in a clutch situation.

Regardless if he knew the rule or not, Markus is just not a clutch player at the end of games. For all the points he has scored, just not dependable.

decent effort by the team to make it a good game. expected to lose and we did, take care of business at home vs Creighton

I hope you're right because he missed it huge.  That was so bad it looked like he forgot the rule.

Well, it was the first time in basketball history that a great player missed a free throw at the end of a game. I’m glad I was able to witness history if I didn’t get to see an MU win

Marquette absolutely needed to foul after Markus cut it to three with 40 seconds left.  You need to extend the game there.  Nova had missed two of its last three free throws.  The Eagles played defense, got the stop, and Wright had his team foul.  Marquette simply ran out of time.  The opening minutes of the second half were the difference.  I’m incredibly proud of this team’s resolve.  The opportunity to win after going down 18 was within reach.

when? I'm talking end of game (last couple possessions). Down the stretch could be anything under 4 minutes (or however you would define it). Then yea sure he has made some big plays, so have a lot of guys on the team
