all im saying is that its not looking good for him based on his production earlier this year and his injuries.

And Erik Williams contributions have been much higher. He is a freshman and I give players the benefit of the doubt in these situations, I'm sure he's working his butt off like anybody else on the team. An offseason of work does wonders.

So you're saying an incoming freshman big, that we knew was a project when we recruited him, that sprained his knee is out of Marquette for his career?  I doub't that unless you know something about his knee-sprain (and subsequent foot injury) that I don't know?

How quickly we forget how bad Cooby and Acker looked for much of last year.  I'll take Mbao for next year over any other raw big we could get coming in next year.

I would disagree.  toneloc gives his name and actual email, unlike the m.o. of the previous posters.

Solid first post.

While the numbers weren't there this year for Mbao, the way he was able to maneuver around the court with a body he is still obviously growing into leaves me quietly optimistic in his future for the next 3 years.  MU is not a team that needs a "dominant" big.  Obviously I won't be complaining if we were to ever get one, but being able to simply have that height out there goes a long way in taking pressure off our back court.

Guys like Mbao and Otule just need to mature into Ousmane types to have an impact with the way the team is currently built, and I don't see any reason (other than injuries keeping them out) why this can't happen.

That was a username of a previous offender.

Edit:
Doesn't matter, I have derailed the topic enough.

Apologies.
