Congrats to TyKo.

But First Team ready.
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

Put the number in the rafters, right next to 0.
I'll stick with my opinion on Gold.  He'll be in foul trouble within the first eight minutes.

2nd Team...

Was 3rd last year in AP.  New Big East POY not on any of the three teams (HM). Newton (1) and  Scheierman (3) make it.

Congratulations to TKO! Well deserved. I do not think I have enjoyed watching another MU player more.

Congratulations

Gonna miss him ... but not until after we do some serious winning over the next 3 weeks.

Oso, too.

I’ll take TK over Jamal Shead all day.  But being the PG for a 1 seed is gonna get you favorable bias

Statistically, it's not all that close - Kolek's even a better rebounder. I don't see enough Houston hoops, but Shead is considered a premium defender, right?

I'd have picked Kolek, but I'm not totally objective on this either.

Shead is a stud, and yes, premium on ball defender. I totally get why voters would give him the nod after the season they’ve had and Tyler’s absence down the stretch. Individual accolades can be overly influenced by team success but in this case it’s splitting hairs.

Having said that, I can’t wait for Tyler to end his season
