NFL concussions, George Andrie's story
« on: May 13, 2018, 10:53:30 PM »
He was older than I and never saw him play as the MU football program had shut down by that time, but there were professors and others on campus that raved about him from earlier years.

His struggle with NFL concussion settlement is documented here along with some background on his time at Marquette before joining the Cowboys of the NFL.

Andrie passed away.  One of Marquette's greatest football players

Was going to transfer after Marquette dropped football, elected to stay as he had met a girl.  They ended up married.  RIP
