The real issue...

is that when Buzz proves himself as a good coach he will leave for a bigger program, much like Crean.  That is the frustration.  A proven coach would not have to make his name and might end his career at MU.  Buzz is obviously a capable recruiter and coach.  He was hired on his merit.

In addition, all these almost insanely negative posts are out of whack.  Many young, "unproven" coaches have gone on to become great.  Where do you think they came from?

Finally, it is not about Buzz and never will be.  It is about our school and with respect to the bball program our kids.  Support the players.  Our players are very good, and sometimes a change is good.  Keep the tickets, and you might be surprised.
