Season Ticket Holders get to view a practice at the BC
« on: October 05, 2016, 09:13:14 AM »
Season ticket holders just got an email with an offer for a free viewing of a practice of the team at the BC in October. First time I've seen this and it seems like a really nice touch. Only basketball nerds will really love it but I think it's a great opportunity to add value to the season ticket package and increase excitement for the season.

Good to see the Athletic Department is coming up with new ways to engage the fanbase.

I REALLY want to go to this.  I'm not a season ticket holder.  Can anyone spot me?

How much is it worth to you?  $120?  That's all a season ticket costs.  Donate all the tickets you don't want back to Marquette and take a tax deduction for them.
Have some patience, FFS.

Will concessions be open?  ie, selling beer.

Yes.

Yes and I also didn't get this email. I even followed the instructions on this image and no event is found under my gomarquette account.

I agree that this is a fantastic idea by the Athletic Dept.

However, I would not have put the people who released the non-con schedule in charge of this.
It seems that practice will begin with only Wojo on the floor, and a new player will come out of the locker room every ten minutes.

I'm wondering if the news of the practice at the Bradley Center is a surprise to people, since it was in your packet book for the season ticket renewal information.

Just the date.  Two weeks notice on a weekend on the exact date, not feasible.  That said, it is the first time and I love they are trying new things.  But, living in Chicago, hard to travel up and attend as this competes with life.  As an aside, I am scheduled out on MUBB until Maui 20017.  Too bad the AD isn't, ey-na?

There's a 6 ticket max, btw.  I imagine there will be folks on Scoop who could spare some of these free tickets.

I have extras for the practice session if anybody needs any.  I don't see a way to email them though.  I can drop in the mail.
