Wojo says Henry could be National Player of the Year as a senior. Let's hope he stays at MU that long!

Matt Heldt signing his letter.

Great picture.  Great prospect from northern WI, playing at a school with Badger Colors, signing his NLI in MU yellow/gold.  Welcome Matt...and all the others from this great recruiting class.

Or let's hope he's good enough to be a top 10 pick in 2016. Turn these bigs into professionals and more will come.

Wojo: "has a good chance to be national player of the year AS A SENIOR"???
How likely is that (not being player of the year, but being a senior)?

I hope these kids (especially Henry, Nick and Matt) talk their parents into a road trip to MKE this weekend.  I wouldn't think that HS basketball would have games yet this Friday and coming to opening night to hang with their new teammates would be a thrill.  Then a little scrimmage action on Saturday morning with the boys and back home to lead there respective teams during their Senior campaigns.  All good.

Having Wojo's connection to Jabari, the Bucks trending positively, with a possible new arena on the horizon, these are shaping up to be some great days for MU/Milwaukee basketball!

Pretty sure he has to graduate hs in order to attend marquette. He was talking about national player of the year as a high school senior. Lol.

I think Wojo was referencing his senior high school season: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USA_Today_All-USA_high_school_basketball_team

Is it against NCAA rules to have a one and done (Jabari) talk to a recruit (Henry)?  After Jabari left school obviously?

Awesome photo. By the way, how come everyone gets to be Warriors but us?

Unknown to most, there is an invisible sphere around the Marquette campus.  Inside this sphere the ONLY image that can be associated with the word "warrior" is that of a Native American.

Much like Easter Island and its huge statues, no one knows exactly how this sphere got here but it will exist eternally.

Can you "cue" a "hard-on?"

If not, Cialis will help you to be ready when the moment strikes.   :D

Matt Heldt signing his letter.

Not sure what I like more: Ellenson signing in a blue and gold filled room with Warriors written all over, or the Heldt family wearing blue and gold and signing in a sea of red.

I think it depends on what you mean by "having" the pro talk to the kid.

LeBron had Michael on speed-dial. Michael said LeBron could call him any time. If during those conversations, Michael somehow convinced LeBron that college would be wonderful and if LeBron ended up at UNC, would there have been a violation? I don't think so, but I'm not an expert on all these rules.

I mean, let's say Duane and Stone really were best buddies -- which supposedly is not the case, but let's say it were true. Duane is at Marquette. Is he not allowed to try to convince his buddy to join him?

I think it actually would because Michael would be considered a booster right? I'm sure if it was "organically" (an invite to a camp or practice or Michael happened to be there on a visit) it wouldn't be but I'm just speculating.

OK, but what if Michael counseled LeBron to go to college and LeBron ended up going to UCLA or Ohio State? Would the Michael-LeBron chats have been kosher then?

From my understanding yes. But I don't have the best understanding of these rules.

I think if the recruit initiates the contact/relationship, it's all above board. The rules (for the most part) are meant to prevent creepy run-of-the-mill as well as well-heeled alumni from harassing recruits completely unsolicited.

I think what Wojo meant is national high school player of the year as a senior. I doubt he is predicting something 5 years down the road.
