Tour de France
« on: July 11, 2021, 01:34:34 PM »
Allow me to show a little hometown pride: Durango, Colorado's Sepp Kuss just became the first American to win a Tour stage in a decade. Last year, Kuss was the top American finisher in the Tour - 15th (and his team finished second). They had a pretty big family in Durango and one of his relatives (probably an aunt...but honestly not entirely sure) was in my HS graduating class.

Coincidentally, he's related to the Blue Angels pilot - Jeff Kuss - that was killed in Tennessee a few years ago (I think an uncle).

He can claim to have won the Tour de Andorra!  ;D

Nice ride by the kid. Tough climbs.

We're practically neighbors. Even though I left Durango in 1986, I still consider it home. Always will.
