I just don’t understand how these Creighton players just blow past our guys.

Which is exactly why i said, they need to TRY zone. At least a few possessions and see how Creighton handles it. It's one of my biggest frustrations with Wojo.

Ugly game against an average Big East team. Is there a game plan?  Serious confusion.

CU on pace for a 100...

Theo in doghouse big time right now, Bailey playing the five now, with Jayce the human foul machine and Morrow playing terrible.

All things considered, this could be a lot worse than trailing 10.

need to get back in transition and make them play slower.  When they can run and make quick passes in transition that is when they get the open 3 looks and the open driving lanes

I'm happy to see Markus force the issue a little bit to end the half there. Every team is going to focus on him, and he needs to be able to find ways to get shots off. The rest of the team needs to be more effective, though. When Markus gets doubled, they need to be able to hit shots or get to the basket (and finish by the basket too!).

Wojos seat is on fire after this season. His only hope is howard carrying him to a 7 seed. This is pathetic. Really miss the hausers in a game like this.

Creighton is like an upgraded version of us. We have the best player, but they have 2-4.

Frustrating, but manageable. Markus started to go 1 on 5 a bit, but good to see him get going a bit. Really need to step up the perimeter defense.

Just wait until we play St. John's. With SJ's speed will be crushed.

Man, I just really dislike Creighton and their fans.
I went to Creighton’s inaugural Big East Game against Marquette.  Walking around the concourse before the game all their fans were really cool.

Ever since that game tipped I have found them to be incredibly whiny and downright annoying.  Getting our doors blown off in that game didn’t help

Yet another game thread one half in and everyone jumping to conclusions. Purdue anyone? For Koby to barely play and Markus just turning it on within the last few minutes, the CU lead is not nearly as bad as it could be. Another half. Let's see what happens.

I just don’t understand how these Creighton players just blow past our guys.

Because we are prioritizing defending the three, clearly. We do need some help D though, but Creighton does a great job of spacing us out.

Typical sky is falling response....first conference game in a very tough environment against a good team. It's not going to be easy folks.

Shocked at Lappas's comment that Markus played about as bad as he could. I didn't see that at all. When he wasn't scoring because they were all over him defensively, he was getting guys wide open looks and didn't force anything. When he started forcing it a bit offensively, he scored a bunch in a row.

If Creighton stays hot and we don't defend better we're not going to pull this one out, but long way to go. Soft turnovers have to stop. Creighton definitely dictating things; our bigs are worthless in this game so far since they can't make Creighton pay for their small lineup.

Purdue is the exception.

Say that after the game. You're proving my point, currently.
